My Viking Journey is the guest hub while traveling with Viking, allowing guests to manage their entire trip right from their mobile device.
In 2016, My Viking Journey generated $244 million with 96% of guests creating an account. Guest can book a spa appointment, find their itinerary for the day or browse for something to watch while relaxing in their room.
Collaborating with several Viking teams to create the future Viking brand, we outlined some simple goals: focus on the traveler and the experiences they enjoy at destinations. And, surface the life-changing power of travel.
We created a UI that embraces both the event host's branding and
the featured games on the Oomba platform.
We used Google's Material Design to create our UI – using Roboto only seemed appropriate. Simple, geometric, and as mechanical as it is nimble.
The colors had to feel independent from the ship design yet familiar to guests and viewers. The palette acts as both a base and an accent to a larger vision.
